As the key leader of the management team, this individual will oversee the daily operations of the organization and ensure all strategic and operational goals align with the P&Y's mission to Preserve, Promote and Protect bowhunting.
Reporting to the board of directors, the Executive Director will have managerial oversight and knowledge in all operational areas to include, but not limited to, office operations, human resources, finances, fundraising, marketing and membership recruitment and retention.

Board Governance:
Works with board of directors to fulfill P&Y's mission.
a.
Lead P&Y in a manner that supports, guides, and implements its mission as defined by the board of directors b.
Effective (bi-weekly at a minimum) communication with board directors to keep them updated and informed on operational and strategic matters c.
Work closely with board directors and committees to assess and address issues affecting the organization 2.
Financial Performance and Viability:
Develops resources, policies, and procedures sufficient to ensure and grow the financial health of the organization.
a.
Responsible for the fiscal integrity of P&Y with regular updating of board directors to include, but not limited to, monthly financial reports, an annual budget and other financial reports as requested b.
Responsible for fiscal management that generally anticipates operating within the approved budget and ensures maximum resource utilization to maintain a positive financial position for the P&Y c.
Create business plans for achieving goals and objectives set in collaboration with board of directors d.
Meet aggressive annual fundraising goals, in partnership with board of directors, by securing financial support from corporations and individual donors e.
Work with staff and board on annual fundraising events and oversees all external communications, including the Ethic journal, website, marketing material, newsletters, and social media 3.
Mission and Strategy:
Works with board of directors and staff to ensure the mission is fulfilled through financial management, fundraising, strategic planning and outreach initiatives.

Maintaining the integrity of P&Y's Records Program b.
Responsible for, in collaboration with the board of directions, the P&Y strategic plan to include its construction, implementation, monitoring and reporting c.
Promotion and growing of the P&Y giving societies and Trust Fund endowment account d.
Serve as the face of the organization and participate in external events to increase visibility, credibility and market brand.
Develop strategic partnerships to further increase brand awareness and expand membership, corporate partners and individual donors 4.
Operations Management.
Oversees and coordinates all organizational resources to ensure the operations of P&Y is operating at the highest levels of efficiency both in regard to staffing and fiscal responsibility.

Effective administration and oversight of all P&Y operations b.
Oversee daily operations of the organization to include providing executive direction for office/program strategies and efficiencies c.
Identify and address staffing requirements for efficient operations, and maintain a strong work culture that attracts and retains people while driving the organization's mission d.
Establishing and consistent enforcement of employment and administrative policies and procedures for all functions and day-to-day operations of the organization Key
Qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership and management skills Ability to multitask Ability to work weekends Undergraduate degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance or a related field 5
years of experience in a high-level management position; preferably in the nonprofit sector Proven success working with a board of directors is preferred Knowledge of fundraising strategies and event planning Strong written and oral communication skills to all levels within and outside of the organization Strong public speaking ability Knowledge of basic/general human resource skills used in an office-based setting Knowledge of social media platforms and basics functions of how to utilize them and ability to supplement knowledge and resources as needed

P&Y is prepared to offer an attractive compensation package, including competitive salary, retirement and vacation benefits.
A reasonable portion of relocation expenses will also be covered, if necessary.
Position Location:
Applicants willing to relocate to the Rochester/Chatfield, Minnesota area will be given preference.
Applicants not willing to relocate will be expected to submit a plan for working remotely.
