The primary purpose of the life enrichment assistant position is to help assist in the operations of the activities department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, established facility policies and procedures and as directed by the Director of Activities.
Requirements:
Must be willing to adapt to change.
Must be willing to deal with upset residents, family members, etc.
Must be able to push and move wheelchairs and twist, crouch and bend while assisting residents.
Must be able to move intermittently thought entire shift.
Must be able to communicate with residents, activities staff, and other staff in different departments.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and implementing Life Enrichment programs to meet social, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of individual residents according to resident's care plans.
Assists residents to pursue group and individual activities of their choice.
Assists residents in transportation to and from activities.
Assists in entering resident participation in their chart from group and individual activities.
Be able to brainstorm new activities or ideas for residents.
Lead group activities and one on one activities as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain a clean and neat area for the residents to participate in during activities.
Prepare area and/or supplies for activities.
Other duties as assignment by the Director of Life Enrichment This specific position would be 15 hours per week and 1 four hour shift a month.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
